Hi me again...Had my consult today...HUGE WASTE OF TIME! Well besides the fact that I drove up there (3 hours) and stayed the night in a hotel ($80), had a good breakfast, went to my appointment... which lasted a whopping 10 minutes!!! YES 10 MINUTES! Which I then had to drive 3 hours home... So in my 10 minute appointment I found out that Dr S sent me without having my surgical hooks and wire secured, so Dr T was like uhhh ya I'm not going to do anything until he does that...

So yep I went 6 hours out of the way for nothing...well not entirely nothing, but it seemed like it. Good news is that Dr S was able to fit me in on Monday to get the hooks put in and that since he could get me in earlier in the week all the other appointments that I set up with Dr T are still good...therefore...MY SURGERY IS ON 10 OCTOBER AHHHH!!!!

A little more nervous now, but excited to get it over with. Dr T did give me a couple of pamphlets that answered a couple questions. Looks like about 2 weeks I'll be able to go back to work... good and bad I guess...but I figured that the DNIF (Duty Not to Include Flying) will be shorter than I thought...which is really good since the sooner I can fly again the sooner I can deploy and go TDY. But we will see when that all fits in.

Next hurdle is getting my mom here and my BF out the door... :(
