Been a while. Had my consultation a while ago now...ooops. Anywho, everything is good to go with the surgery. Feeling confident. My oral surgeon and Orthodontist have communicated and an official letter headed memo has been added to my ortho records so everything is a go thus far. Only thing is that it will probably not be until mid-late summer 12, which is fine. My mommy said she'd come and help me out the first week or two after I get it so looks like just waiting on Dr S.
In other news went for my appt in Oct and since I was getting deployed in Dec Dr S. thought it was a good time to put brackets on the last molars...bummer deal. They hurt worse than when I got my entire mouth full of metal. I can't ignore pokers as well as I could before and being deployed I had to figure out a way to clip them... Oh and another thing the AF made a HUGE deal about me not being able to deploy with braces...NOT ONCE while I was preparing to leave for deployment did they ask about my braces, even when you have to get signed off for all your medical stuff. So ridiculous!! Anywho just been careful cause if anything happens out here...there's no real way of getting it fixed. So here's to hoping my rubber band ties don't ware out!!
